Happy Feet the Movie - Pleasant Animated Comedy.

Happy Feet the Movie is a nice animated comedy. It has won the Academy Award for the Best Animated Feature among many other awards. Budgeted at $100 million, it has collected more than $370 millions world wide. It was released in November 2006.

Kennedy Miller has produced the film in association with Animal Logic, the animation studio of Sydney. George Miller has directed the film with an in-built environmental message. Pleasant visuals have made the film a beauty to watch.

Story line revolves around Emperor Penguin colony in Antarctic. Colony is run by strict rules. It is customary and mandatory for each penguin to sing a heart song to attract a female penguin.

Memphis sings a pleasant heart song and attracts Norma. Mumble, the main character of the film and child of Memphis and Norma was exposed to harsh freezing winter conditions at birth.

Mumble gets the inborn ability of tap dancing. None of the penguins has this art. But he lacks singing and heart song. Hence, he is not accepted in emperor colony. His tap dancing gets accepted among his new friends from other colony and forms a group called Amigos.

He is expelled from emperor colony due to befallen curse of shortage of fishes. Caught by humans and kept in glass prison for 3 months. Released due to his tap dancing and followed to Antarctic. Humans realize their mistake and bans fishing in Antarctic.

Fishes return and Mumble gets his mate in Gloria. He gets accepted along with his tap dancing. Stunning Antarctic visuals, cute penguins, great songs and music make Happy Feet the Movie a really enjoyable film.
