Alphaville Movie - Award Winning Film.

Alphaville movie is a French science fiction film released in 1965. It is a black and white cinema. It had won the Golden Globe Award in Berlin film festival in 1965. It is considered as one of the best early sci-fi cinemas.

It has a futuristic sci-fi story line. Professor Von Braun has created a super computer - Alpha 60. He has also created Alphaville - a city in far galaxy.

Entire population of the city is totally controlled by Alpha 60. Technical dictatorship prevails. There is no freedom of thought and expression. People are brain washed and sent to wars on other planets.

Eddie Constantine plays the role of Lemmy Caution. He is a secret agent. His mission is to find and kill Professor Braun and destroy super computer Alpha 60.

He succeeds after some struggle with the help of daughter of Von Braun. She was the programmer of Alpha 60. Anna Karina plays her role.

Alphaville movie has no special effects or huge settings. It was filmed in Paris. New concept, good story line, nice performances by lead cast has made the film a great success.
